Donate Used Soccer Gear and Equipment

Cleats and shinguards too small?

Graduated from in-house to traveling soccer?

How about those mountains of soccer shorts, T-shirts and socks?

The Northfield Soccer Association needs your used soccer gear and gently worn clothing through March.

  1. February 21 and 22, 6 to 8 a.m. at Shattuck in Faribault during U-15 to U-17 girls' and boys' tryouts.
  2. February 28, 9 a.m. to noon, at Greenvale Park Elementary during Soccer Registration Day.
  3. Through March, you may also bag up your used gear and equipment, label the bag "NSA" and drop it on the porch at Kelly Scheuerman's house, 201 Nevada St., near Carleton.

Where do you send it all?

Hi, I am a parent from the Centennial Soccer Club in Anoka County and we are investigating the donation of used equipment. We have the issue of usable jerseys (which we would like to redistribute to upcoming players) as well as generic shin guards, cleats, etc. In my research, I came across your site. I am looking for some insight into how you deal with the donations. Are they used locally or sent off somewhere? Do you have a jersey reuse exchange program within you club?

Your club seems quite organized and I'm hoping you can give me some insight into how you run your donation program. Even if we can find someone with the space to take the donations, we need to get them moved out quickly. Any suggestions would be gratefully appreciated.

Thank you for your time,

Leigh Beatty
