YMCA announces full slate of fall programs

YMCA program guide The Northfield Area Family YMCA may not have its own building yet, but it is working throughout the community to offer it first full slate of fall programs for people of all ages, from toddlers to teens to parents and grandparents.

Core training, basketball, youth sports and even wee ones flag football are among the offerings in sports and fitness. And if you think camping is just for summer, there will be a long-weekend camping trip over MEA weekend. Teens can join in a model United Nations, hang with friends on teen nights or help plan other activities. Families can help organiza Y Guides groups and participate in other events together.

The full schedule is available at www.northfieldymca.org (or by clicking the image above), and you can register right through the website. The YMCA has worked out a cooperative arrangement to offer many programs at the Armory. Memberships are available, but registration is open to non-members as well. That means you can try out a single program or take advantage of lower membership rates for your entire family.

Executive Director Skip Zimmerman and Program Director Amy Belcher are happy to explain all the programs and answer any questions. For more information, call the Northfield Area Family YMCA at 507-645-0088 or check out its website at www.northfieldymca.org.
