Halloween Themed Events at the Northfield Arts Guild

An Evening of Fear: back to back ghost stories on Oct 19 and 20.
Danse Macabre: Night of the Living Dancers on Friday, October 13th.

The Northfield Arts Guild presents two Halloween themed events this October.  Danse Macabre is back, and this time, “Night of the Living Dancers”, is perfectly situated on Friday the 13th of October. This sure-to-sell-out event is one night only: a night of dances and surprises revolving around the dark, macabre and twisted. Danse Macabre is held at the Northfield Arts Guild Theater, 411 Third Street West, beginning at 7:30pm, October 13, 2017.  Tickets are $15 general admission and are available at NorthfieldArtsGuild.org or by calling 507-645-8877.

This fundraiser dance performance and party to support the Northfield Arts Guild is recommended for mature audiences, and audience members are encouraged to come in costume.   Producers Mary Hahn and Megan Proft have brought together an abundance of choreographers and dance talent to feature both spooky and comical hip hop, jazz, belly dance, tap, Korean sword dance, musical theater style numbers and more.

Additionally, St. Olaf Theater Designer and Technical Director Todd Edwards is bringing his nationally recognized projection talent to this event, creating an atmosphere unlike anything anyone has ever seen at the Guild theater.

Beer and wine will be available for purchase at this event with ID.  Danse Macabre is sponsored by Hvistendahl, Moersch, Dorsey & Hahn, P.A.

The following week, the Northfield Arts Guild Theater presents the first in its LAB theater series, An Evening of Fear.
