Fall library story times resume soon!

After the big kids go to school we will be resuming our story times for little ones at the Northfield Public Library.

The programs, which are free and open to all, begin Wednesday, September 13.

  • “I like books!” preschool story time returns on September 13.  We will have two story times each week: Wednesdays and Thursdays at 10 a.m. for ages 3 to 5 with caregiver.
  • “Patty Cake, Patty Cake” Infant Lapsit returns Tuesday, September 19 at 10 a.m. for children 6 to 24 months.
  • Our on-going FIRST STEPS Early Literacy Center is open Monday, Friday and Saturday mornings from 10a.m. – noon.  It features hands-on fun and learning for children 6 months to 5 years! 
  • “Merlin Mondays” is a boys-only book group that meets Monday evenings at 7 p.m.  New members are always welcome.

  • Saturday morning Carleton ACT Student’s story hour 
  • Adventure Girls, St. Olaf Honor house's girls only book group.
