State Rail Plan Open House: Monday, February 2

Passenger Rail Service for Northfield?  A grassroots effort is underway to persuade MnDot to study the feasibility of passenger rail service between south central Minnesota and the Twin Cities on existing rail lines through Northfield!  Two routes are proposed for MnDot's consideration (see attached map).

A long list of regional cities, counties and stakeholders (see list below) have signed official letters urging MnDot to designate the Northfield rail corridor as a "Tier One" project in the State's Rail Plan which is now being revised.

Now MnDot wants to hear directly from the public!

Please plan to attend MnDot's STATE RAIL PLAN PUBLIC OPEN HOUSE

Monday, February 2, 5:00-7:00 pmWeitz Center, Larson Room (Room #234)

This meeting is open to all members of the public!
