The Rice County Mental Health Collective announces two new opportunities for assistance with mental health. The Collective strives to promote good mental health through education and support. To that goal, two programs are scheduled.

The NAMI Family Support Group provides ongoing support, information and resources for families and friends with mental illness. It meets the first and third Tuesdays of the month, 7:00-8:30 p.m. beginning on December 2, 2014 at the Northfield Community Resource Center, Room 222, 1651 Jefferson Parkway, Northfield.

In addition, there is the Wellness Recovery Action Plan, a program of peer support for anyone striving to live a healthy life. WRAP meets on the following Tuesday afternoons, from 1:30-3:30 p.m.: December 9, 16; January 6, 13, 20, 27; February 3, 10, 17. Adults interested in pursuing their own wellness and recovery are eligible. Certified WRAP leaders are Sarah Entenmann, David Entenmann, and April Sjulstad. WRAP meets at Allina Health, 1400 Jefferson Road, Northfield. There is no cost.
