St. Olaf has an orchestra concert tonight at 8 p.m., a band concert tomorrow at 2:30 and a choir concert tomorrow at 8 p.m. St. Olaf's commencement is Sunday.

Rice County Steam and Gas Engines, Inc. is having its annual Swap Meet and Flea Market on Saturday and Sunday from 8 to 5 at the showgrounds on Hwy 3 in Dundas.

The Northfield Arts Guild
is holding its first Cabaret, "Forcefields," on Saturday night at 7:30, and they're encouraging everyone to sing, expound, act or just go to the NAG Theater to watch. At the very same time in the Arts Guild's downtown location there's an opening reception for an exhibition of art from the senior students in the Northfield High School Honors Art Program. Again, that's at 7:30 on Saturday night.

As always, there's good live music and a beautiful weekend to enjoy the outside decks. Jeff Ray will be at the Tavern tonight. Tomorrow night Debbie Bigelow and Dean Kleven will be at the Contented Cow and Bear will be at The Tavern.
