Looking for something fun to do this Friday night? The Northfield Area Family YMCA is offering its new Family Fun Night at the Y program from 6 to 8 p.m. Jan. 25 at the Northfield National Guard Armory.

Come inside the armory and play together as a family. We will play games and have scavenger hunts, special family challenges and more. Activities will be appropriate for children ages 3 and up, but younger children are welcome to attend. This is a great way to spend time together as a family and get to know other families.

The program is free for YMCA members and $10 per family for community members.

Additional information about Family Fun Night is listed in the Y’s winter session brochure, which is available now at the Y’s website——and at the usual places in Northfield:

• The Y’s office, on Highway 3, just south of the Quarterback Club.

• The armory.
• The Y’s Health and Wellness Fitness Center, 900 Cannon Valley Drive, on the campus of the Northfield Retirement Center.

Also included on the YMCA’s website and in the brochure are details about the Y’s annual Daddy-Daughter Dance, scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 16, at the armory.

To register for any of the course offerings, complete a brochure registration form; visit and click the “Registration” button; stop by the Y’s office; or call the Y at 507-645-0088.

The Northfield YMCA welcomes all who wish to participate in its programs, meaning no one is turned away because of inability to pay.
