Northfield Arts Guild Theater Presents THE CHERRY ORCHARD

The Northfield Arts Guild Theater announces the upcoming production of The Cherry Orchard by Anton Chekhov and adapted by Jean-Claude Van Itallie. This beautiful translation by Van Itallie brings to life Chekhov’s modern classic tale centered at the estate of Madame Ranevskaya, where the fate of the beautiful orchard hangs in the balance as it is auctioned off to pay family debts. According to the New York Post this play is "…a new, faithful, very playable and gorgeous translation by Jean-Claude van Itallie." 
The Cherry Orchard is being directed by Jon Terrill and stage managed by Melody Pringle.  Members of the cast include Felicia Crosby, Taylor Heitman, Lee Wilson, Susan Carlson, Peter Webb, Tristan Rouh, Sylvia Ismet, Susan Dunhaupt, Rob Schanilec, Jeanne LaBerge-Dunlop, Fred Stanley, Bryan Reed and Ellie Wilson. 
Performances of The Cherry Orchard will take place April 4-6 and 11-13, with Friday and Saturday performances at 7:30pm and Sunday performances at 2pm. An ASL performance will take place at the April 12th show.  Please call the Arts Guild to request ASL.
