Northfield parents and caregivers have a renewed option for giving young kids room to run during cold winter months: free open playtime at the United Methodist Church

Have fun, make friends and get out of the house this winter! In order to keep your young people active and beat the cold weather, the United Methodist Church is stocking its carpeted gym with toys and opening it up for playtime twice a week from January 17 through March 16.

Every Tuesday and Thursday morning from 8:30am to 10:00am, young children and their caregivers are invited to play at the United Methodist Church gym. “It’s a great place to play during cold winter months and a good way for you to meet other parents of young children,” says United Methodist Church Children and Family Ministries Coordinator Kathy Hupf.

Start: Mar 15 2017 12:00 pm

Join Leif Knecht from Knecht's Nurseries in Northfield, as he walks us through how to choose, plant, and maintain high quality trees on our own properties.  Whether planting a single maple tree on your boulevard, or a grove of fruit trees on your hobby farm, Leif will share the tools we need to be stewards of our own land.
