SCHEDULE of weekly themes.

Drop in anytime between 9 am and 3 pm on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursdays and join in the fun and learning at the library.  You may also choose your reading rewards during this time. Meet our Summer Reads VISTA volunteer, Matt!  Matt will provide quality tutoring and literacy enrichment to children at the library.  

  • June 28-30: Dr. Seuss
  • July 5-7: “You be the writer!”
  • July 12-14: Play-Doh
  • July 19-21: Legos!

August TBA The program ends Thursday, August 18th.

NEW expanded morning storytimes! 

  • Infant lapsit 10 & 11 am Tuesdays
  • Toddler Rhyme Times 10 & 11 am Wednesdays
  • Pre-school Storytime 10 & 11 am Thursdays

Many READING OPTIONS for you to choose:

Timed Reading Records- Fill in one quarter of a circle for every 15 minutes you read or are read to.  Each hour equals 1 prize ticket. Bring the reading record to the library to get tickets for prizes. Read 10 hours and receive a CHAMPION READER MEDAL!

Reading BINGOS- Each Reading Bingo sheet has a possibility of 12 BINGOS. Earn 1 prize ticket for every BINGO you complete.  Complete 10 BINGOS and you receive a CHAMPION READER MEDAL! 

You can turn in your TIMED READING RECORDS or READING BINGO SHEETS on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday from 9-3 June 14 through August 18. Please direct any questions you may have to Kathy Ness 507-645-1810. 

The TEEN Summer Reading Program is for those going into grade 6 and up. For more information check out the info in the YA area of the library or ask Ian Holmes 507-645-1802.

New this summer is our SUMMER MATH PROGRAM!We have a special “Bedtime Math Summer of Numbers” for you to try this year. For each constellation you complete you get 1 ticket. Complete all three and get a glow -in-the dark flying disc

There is a free website with the math problems, a free app, and we have the books.www.bedtimemath.org
