Taste of Northfield May 29 in Bridge Square

The 9th Annual Taste of Northfield will take place Thursday, May 29th, 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm in historic, scenic, authentic Downtown Northfield, MN.

The Taste of Northfield features delicious food and beverages from local businesses as well as live entertainment from local artists and is located in and around Bridge Square, including the Sesquicentennial Legacy Plaza along the Cannon River.

Performances on the City of Northfield Showmobile will take place throughout the evening featuring long-time favorite Anna Balfany at 5:00 pm and The Bridge Square Band at 6:00 pm. The James Gang will present a bank raid re-enactment on Division Street at 7:15 pm followed by a local talent show from 7:30 to 9:00 pm.

Local restaurants will be offering their tasty options from booths around Bridge Square and a Wine and Beer Garden will be located on the Legacy Plaza next to the Cannon River.  This year’s Taste of Northfield offers music by Barb Piper, Relativity, Why Not? and Chad Johnson in the Wine and Beer Garden.

Kids’ activities will be located together on Water Street, between the historic post office and the Riverside Park. The Cannon River Watershed Partnership will be offering rain barrel painting and BikeNorthfield will be providing bike tire repair hands-on training.  MOM Brands will be be on-hand with their highly popular Create-A-Snack area.
