The Roe Family Singers to Perform at Central Park TONIGHT!


Join The Roe Family Singers for a Good-Time, Old-Time Hillbilly evening of original and traditional music! TONIGHT!

Hailing from the Mississippi-headwaters, the band blends characteristic old-time sound with rock & roll, featuring banjo, auto harp, guitar, and Appalachian clogging!

Booker opens at 6:30 pm and the show begins at 7 pm.

The Roe Family Singers are the 2012 MInnesota Bluegrass & Old-Time Music Association Duet Competition Winners, winners of the 2012 Old-Time CD of the Year (as presented by the Rural Roots Music Commission), esteemed recipients of McKnight Artist Fellowships in 2011 and 2012, voted the World's Best Jug Band (at the annual Battle of the Jug Bands) in 2010 and 2012, and in 2006 vocalist Kim Roe was named Best Female Vocalist by City Pages.
