Organ Recital Series Celebrates 10th Anniversary with Six Recitals


Northfield Noontime Organ Recitals open their tenth season beginning at noon, Wednesday July 6, at the Northfield United Methodist Church, 1401 Maple Street.  Music by Dieterich Buxtehude and Denis Bedard (Duet Suite) will be performed by Richard F Collman, organ, and David K. Miller, piano.  They will perform on the 1993 Gabriel Kney tracker, 27 ranks and the Steinway piano.

On Wednesday July, 13, Rosalie Alcoser will perform music of Bach, Travis and Langlais. Alcoser is Director of Children and Youth Ministry at First Presbyterian Church in Red Wing.  This noon concert will be at Northfield First United Church of Christ, 300 Union St., and performed on the Johnson & Son Schlicher/Rutz, 3 manuals, 53 ranks.
