Northfield City Hall Open House

Mayor Graham, members of the City Council and City staff welcome the public to Northfield City Hall, 801 Washington St, for an open house on Wednesday, June 25 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

The purpose of the City Hall open house is to celebrate the 60th anniversary (1954-2014) of the newly remodeled building and its public service to the Northfield community as an elementary school and City Hall.

Were you a student or teacher in the former Washington Elementary School or are you a former city employee, maybe a regular user of the services at City Hall or just an interested resident or business owner, stop by for a tour of the newly remodeling building and enjoy some ice cream or hot dogs before or after your tour.

The new Washington Conference Room recognizes the building in its role as a former elementary school, with photos made possible through the efforts of the Northfield Historical Society. Plus, the Carleton and St Olaf meeting rooms have been so named to recognize the importance of our colleges to the Northfield community.
