Monkey Valley Race for Epilepsy

Monkey Valley Race.jpeg

The Monkey Valley and Funky Monkey Mile were inspired by Reuben Menk, age 12, after his cousin Coho Menk died suddenly from an epileptic seizure. Reuben loves to run, especially if it is for a god cause. Reuben is hosting this race at his family farm in rural Kenyon.  All proceeds benefit the Epilepsy Foundation of Minnesota. The race is at Monkey Valley – Kenyon, MN, 11301 East 230thSt., Kenyon, MN 55946. Come for the race – stay for a picnic! If weather permits, we’ll have a campfire, music and games, too. If you’d like to volunteer at the race instead of participate, contact us at cshigin@yahoo.com.  Please check the website for details.  www.monkeyvalleyrace.com.  Register before May 5 to get a T-shirt.  Online registration ends May 15.  Same day registration (for an extra $5) will take place from 9-9:45 a.m. on race day. Cost is $30 for adults and $20 for youth under 14. Same day registration cash or check only is an additional $5.
