Martin Luther King Celebration Monday Evening

Members of the Northfield Human Rights Commission invite all to the Color of Unity, the 2016 Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Celebration, Monday, January 18, 2016, 7:00 pm. At Emmaus Church, 712 Lincoln Street N. This year's program will feature four performing groups, a talk on Black Lives Matter by a St. Olaf student, and the annual awarding of the Human Rights Award.  This year's recipient is Susan Sanderson, honoring her years of commitment to the youth of our community in numerous ways, including her work as head of the Middle School TORCH program.

There will be performances by Glory Singers, Northfield Dance Academy, Ann Gregory-Bjorklund, Northfield High School Performing Arts Students (Latino anf Friends Players.)
