The Future of Our Public Library

On Monday, March 12, 2012, 7-8:30 p.m., in the NCRC, Room 103, there will be a conversation about what the Northfield will be when today's five-year olds are 15, 35, 55 adn 75 years old.  Co-sponsored by the Friends of the Library and the League of Women Voters of Northfield/Cannon Falls, the event offers the public an opportunity to ask questions and to give suggest ideas and concerns about the library. The discssion will be facilitated by two Minnesota library "futurists," Janos McChie (St. Paul Public Library)  and Jack Poling (MS&R Architects and Lynne Young (Northfield Library Director. 

On Saturday, April 14, there will be a tour of of the-future-is-now metro libraries.
