Fall Art Classes at the Northfield Arts Guild

The Guild is offering over thirty art classes this fall for all ages and abilities.  Our certified art educators will be offering classes in clay, dance, painting, theater, and music.  Plus guest artists from the twin cities will be offering workshops for beginners and professionals alike.

Musicians take note - Mark Kreitzer is bringing back his Acoustic Jam workshop on September 20th.  Potters are encouraged to join master ceramic artist, Marion Angelica in her porcelain workshop September 27th & 28th. The Weaver’s Guild of Minnesota master teacher, Carol Johnson is offering a Rigid Heddle Loom Weaving workshop October 11th and 12th.

New this year, “Art for Home Schoolers” is geared to ages 7 – 12.  Kelly Lynn Stanton-Nutt, Art Educator, will introduce students to the arts and cultures of ancient Egypt, Greece, and China. And we are offering Art Parties for all ages – birthday parties, play dates, clay & wine nights!

All of your favorite teachers will be returning.  Anna Lisa Rustad is offering her Music Together classes at three different times during the week. Christina Schweitz will be teaching KidsART: Blooming Artists twice a week.  Kathleen Pender and Shari Setchell will continue to offer amazing dance classes in ballet, modern, and tap for ages 5 to 105.   The Folklorico team continues to teach Mexican dances for all ages. Check out our dance workshops as well. Our wonderful clay teachers are back: Raphael Estrella, Fred Gustafson, Glynnis Lessing and newcomer Julia Snyder!
