Arts a la Carte Returns

Northfield High School students will share their visual, literary, dramatic and performance art talents with the community on Friday, May 4 at the 12th annual “Arts a la Carte” Evening of the Arts.  The event is from 5-8 p.m. at Northfield High School and is open to the public.

Children, teens and adults will find plenty to do throughout the evening; activities include fish printing on T-shirts, jewelry making, musical performances by Northfield High School students, clay wheel throwing lessons, face painting, paper decoration, book making, a musical petting zoo, a giant doodle wall, Honors Art student demonstrations, a student visual art show and door prizes.

Arts a la Carte is organized by students and teachers with assistance from the Northfield Fine Arts Boosters and community volunteers. Nearly 1,000 people attended last year's event.  Admission is $2 at the door, and dinner will be available for purchase.
