Kathy Boudreau

Kathy Boudreau, age 48 of Northfield, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2013 at her home after a 2 year battle with Melanoma Cancer. Funeral Services will be 10:00 am Wednesday, May 1st at the Northfield United Methodist Church with burial at the Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-7:00 pm Tuesday, April 30th at the Bierman Funeral Home in Northfield and at the Church on Wednesday 1 hour prior to Services.

Kathleen Susan Boudreau was born July 26, 1964 to Jack and Mary (Olson) Anderson in Blue Earth, MN. She graduated from Elmore High School in 1982 where she loved sports, band, choir, plays and her friends. After graduation she received a Secretary Degree at Mankato Vo-Tech.

In 1984 Kathy married her high school sweetheart, Dean Dahl and they raised 2 sons in Cannon Falls, MN. She was employed at Princess Soft Toys, and then began her career at Multek/Sheldahl until the present. Kathy and Dean divorced.

In 1997 Kathy married Bob Boudreau. Bob and Kathy raised their 4 sons and loved family vacations to South Dakota, California, Florida, Canada and camping and snowmobiling in Wisconsin. Kathy loved attending her kid’s events which included singing “Sweet Caroline” with her girlfriends in the stands. She recently completed two 5K’s with her friends and family by her side. Kathy and Bob loved their Goldwing motorcycle and took trips to Utah, Wyoming and Montana while going on local trips with their friends. Kathy was a member of the Northfield United Methodist Church where she enjoyed teaching Sunday school, confirmation classes and giving Children’s Sermons.

Kathy is survived by her loving husband Bob; sons Alex and Josh Dahl, Michael and Daniel Boudreau all of Northfield; father Jack (Bonnie) Anderson of Elmore, MN; brothers Mike Anderson of Rochester and Tim (Lois) Anderson of Minnesota Lake; parents-in-law Robert and Deloris Boudreau of Northfield; sister-in-law Becky (Richard) Gates of Northfield; nephew Seth Anderson of Blue Earth; nieces Sara Anderson of Minnesota Lake and Andrea (Darin) Stowe of Northfield. She was preceded in death by her mother.
