The Northfield Arts Guild Theater presents The Miracle Worker, by William Gibson. Adapted from the true story of their lives, this inspirational drama chronicles Helen Keller’s miraculous journey from her trapped and silent world to one of knowledge and freedom with the help of her beloved and gifted tutor Anne Sullivan.

Carleton College’s International Film Forum returns for spring 2017, with screenings held (mostly on) Monday evenings 7 p.m. in the Weitz Center Cinema. Featuring films from all around the world, the series runs through March, culminating in a four-day Festival of Chilean and Argentine Cinema. All screenings are free and open to the public.
The International Film Forum is a group dedicated to the viewing and studying of foreign films, developed thought a partnership between the Carleton departments of arts, cinema and media studies, and languages. The screenings are often preceded by a presentation by the director of the film, a Carleton professor, or a knowledgeable guest—and then followed by a short discussion session.
