NHS razes the roof

The Northfield Historical Society is replacing the roof on the Scriver Building. See Rob Schanilec's June 6 blog post:

The first step will be to cut into the existing roof from the outside and extract insulation, monitoring for possible artifacts in the attic space. Then workcrews will work inside the dark, hot and messy structure increasing the support structure before they begin tearing the old roof off in favor of an upgraded and reinforced flat one, restoring the building to it's 1876 roofline.

Hey Griff:

Do you think that you or Rob could supply an image of that 1876 roofline to either of your blogs?

Thanks much,

Ross
