Lavonne Rind
Jean Lavonne Rind was born April 5, 1923, in McIntosh, Minnesota, to Leonard and Lillian (Foss) Erickson. At the age of three she moved with her family to Kenyon, Minnesota, and graduated from Kenyon High School in 1938. She married Hurley O. Rind in May 1956. After marriage they lived in Texas, California, Oregon, Utah, Arizona and Kenyon.
Survivors include her children: Dennis (Gloria) Breashears of Kearns, Utah, Michael (Lorie) Gruhlke of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Monica (Richard) Ybarra of Pomona, California; 5 grandchildren; her brother, Leo (Velma) Erickson of Virginia, Minnesota; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband on June 10, 1994; her parents; her sister, Meridith; and her brothers: Orvis (Marie) Erickson & Roger (Helen) Erickson.
Lavonne passed away Thursday afternoon, June 11, 2009, at the Northfield Care Center, at the age of 86.
Interment will be in Valley View Memorial Park in West Valley City, Utah.
Arrangements are with the Benson & Langehough Funeral Home.
