Above right: fiber optic cable from the Twin Cities coming through town to serve Carleton and St. Olaf colleges with greatly increased high-speed Internet capacity, including Internet2. (See the March blog post on this.) Discussion at the NDDC forum included how excess capacity of this infrastructure could serve the Northfield community.
