2nd Annual Earth Day Contra Dance

Celebrate the return of Spring!

The 2nd Annual Northfield Earth Day Contra Dance
Saturday, April 26, 2008
Sayles Hill Campus Center, Carleton College

• 7 p.m. contra dance lesson (recommended for everyone)
• 7:30 - 10:30 contra dancing to the music of Contratopia

Free Admission! (a $5 voluntary donation will be requested to benefit environmental projects - to be announced).

An all community contra dance - everyone welcome! (participation in the dance is recomended for ages 10 and up - a dance area will be provided for younger children).

This dance will be the grand finale of a week of Earth Day events in downtown Northfield, and at Carleton and St. Olaf Colleges April 20 – 27 (consult the Northfield news and local calendar web sites after 4/16 for the full calendar).

No previous dance experience needed; no dance partner required!
Comfortable shoes recommended; festive swing-ready dance attire encouraged.
