Jessie Jane's Jamboree II: Kitten Kaboodle
Fundraiser for the NAG to run this Thursday-Saturday
Come and enjoy an hour of humorous and exciting entertainment during your DJJD weekend. The amusing and melodramatic trials and tribulations of Jessie Jane are back by popular demand at the Northfield Arts Guild Theater. Performances are Thursday, Friday and Saturday, September 6 - 8 at 7:30 pm, with an additional show at 5:00 pm on Saturday. Tickets are only $8.00 and are available by calling 507-645-8877 or online at the NAG website.
Jessie Jane faces a new foe this year...Kitten Kaboodle. Kitten is a terribly beautiful and dangerous seductress new to Northfield. She has one eye set on Jessie's man, the Mayor, and the other on Jessie's saloon. Can Jessie survive the attack on her purse and her heart, or will the sinister seductress, Kitten Kaboodle win it all? Mosey over to this musical melodrama mayhem to find out!
This year's installment of Jessie Jane's Jamboree was again written by local playwright Brendon Etter, and Rachel Haider once again directs the cast, with Musical Direction by Peter Webb and choreography by Mary Hahn. Tania Legvold has designed the set; Jill Ponder is the costumer and Alvin Ho is lighting the show. The cast includes perennial favorites and new faces alike: Sheri Setchell as Jessie Jane, Arianna Bond as Kitten Kaboodle, Jerry Fox as Mayor Wally Wanado, Brendon Etter and Kevin Ward as Frank and Beans, Steve Lawler as Sheriff Mack Justice, Ruth Krause as the Bartender, and Joey Cherney Tom Ett, Cathi Gutfleisch, Charlie Gutfleisch, Melody Pringle, and Dean Neuberger as the Townsfolk. The fabulous dancing girls include Michelle Olsen, Deb Winkleman, Jacqui Dorsey, Ann Etter, Jane Fenton, Anika Gadbury, Mary Hahn, Dawn Knutson, Megan Proft and Christina Schwietz. Kevin Ely keeps everything organized as the Stage Manager.
Filled with great old-timey music and incredible dancing, Kitten Kaboodle is sure to add wonderful fun to your DJJD weekend. This is a fundraiser for the Northfield Arts Guild, with an all-volunteer crew and the costs of the production underwritten by the law firm of Hvistendahl, Moersch & Dorsey, P.A.
