Carleton College's Goodsell Observatory will hold an open house Friday, December 7, from 7-9 p.m., if skies are clear. View stars, nebulas, and planets through the telescopes. Dress warmly as the telescope domes are not heated!
Open houses are held the first Friday of each month (except July 4, 2008), with the schedule posted on at http://go.carleton.edu/83. (Note that times change through the year as sunset time changes.) The open house will be cancelled if it is cloudy.
Joel Weisberg is a Professor of Physics and Astronomy and the Natural Sciences at Carleton College.
