The 'Sphere, she is back. We're converted to 100% recycled electrons and washed our 'Destroy Entropy' t-shirt - it gets so dirty so quickly...
The Northfield Construction Company has a picture-filled post detailing their work on laying the foundation for the third First National Bank branch...
The workers need to carefully compact soils around the water and storm water piping to ensure there is no floor or pavement settlement in the building or parking lots. We also took delivery of the reinforcing steel for the foundation. This gets to be quite a pile of steel----all specially bent to match the requirements of the foundation.
Pastor Clay Oglesbee's Soul to Sole blog has an entry entitled "Freedom = Cleaning Out, Starting Again"...
Thoreau is right. Humanly speaking, it is not what we imagine to be everlasting that matters, but what is just ending or just springing up. A free person knows the difference between what dies and what lives.
The Northfield Public Library has posted the 2007 Books and Stars schedule. I mention this because they've booked Justin Roberts again this year and as far as my daughter is concerned JR is what would happen if the Beatles and Whitney Houston has a baby that was delivered by Elvis... or something like that.
You are invited to enjoy fun, free family entertainment at various parks all over Northfield! Booker, the Book Bus opens at 6 pm, the entertainment begins at 7 p.m. Booker has library materials for all ages. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and get ready for fun! The Cocoa Bean returns to sell their refreshing Hawaiian Shaved Ice and half the proceeds are donated to Booker!
The Dundas Dukes lost to Cannon Falls 7-6 in 11 innings...
He walked the first batter (just a little guy), the next batter bunted, and after a throwing error Cannon had runners on first and third. The next batter was intentionally walked and the last batter worked a walk as well to win the game for Cannon Falls.
And finally, Brendon Etter hit his funny bone and wrote "Made-up Drugs I Wish I Had Made-up So I Could Have Tried Them."
6. Himoin (Heroin for today's man)
That's all for this week. I'd write more, I'm crashing and I need another fix of Himoin.
