Eritrean Fundraising Dinner, May 14 at Chapati

In early April, Norman and Diane Butler invited a small group of Northfielders to a lunch at Chapati. It wasn’t Indian food we ate, however. It was Eritrean, prepared by my neighbors, Bereket Haileab and Friewinne Kaleab. Yum!

The group hatched the idea of having an Eritrean dinner as a fundraiser for American Refugee Committee programs in East Africa.

And it’s happening on Monday, May 14, 6 pm at Chapati.

Tickets are $25, reserved/paid in advance.
