Want something to do? Check out the Volunteer Fair

The Northfield Community Volunteer Festival will take place on Saturday, February 10, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. in the Northfield High School lower cafeteria.

Dozens of local non-profits will table at this event in order to recruit volunteers for a wide array of opportunities. Lunch and snacks will be available for sale, and there will also be a story corner and face painting for children. Community members may also volunteer at the event by bringing a non-perishable food item or donating blood; the Red Cross Bloodmobile will be open at the event from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Walk-ins are welcome or volunteers may make an appointment through the Red Cross at www.givelife.org. Everyone is welcome to this annual celebration sponsored by the Carleton College ACT Center, Northfield Public Schools Community Services Division, and St. Olaf College.
