Don't forget to vote!

Election LogoThe polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., November 7, for this year's general election. Watch this site for election results as they come in. Don't forget to stop by your polling place and vote.

And when it's all over, stop by the Concented Cow and join us as we monitor the results and celebrate that another campaign season is over. If you can't get to the Cow, just check in at Northfield.org to watch the results in real time online.  

This is a great opportunity to show your patriotism, exercise your rights, improve your community, verify your registration and refresh on voting procedures for November -- all in one easy stop.

If you are not registered, you can register at the polls, just remember to bring your valid forms of identification. The MN Secretary of State's Web site can help you find your polling place and includes a list of candidates on your ballot.

Constitutional Amendment (Transportation)

Shall the Minnesota Constitution be amended to dedicate revenue from a tax on the sale of new and used motor vehicles over a five-year period, so that after June 30, 2011, all of the revenue is dedicated at least 40 percent for public transit assistance and not more than 60 percent for highway purposes?
