The History of the Grand/Ware Auditorium
"!{float:left;margin:0 5px 0 0;}http://northfield.org/files/thumb_ware.jpg!":http://northfield.org/files/ware.jpg The Northfield Historical Society presents The History of the Grand/Ware Auditorium. This event will be held at the Grand Event Center on Wednesday, April 6th at 7:00 p.m. A special exhibit designed and produced by NHS intern and St. Olaf Student *Becca Wheeler*, will be on display. Becca will also give a quick history on the Grand.
Following Becca's presentation there will be a video documentary, which was done by two Carleton Students *Megan Vig* and *Lauran Allinson*. Following the video, there will be a brief panel discussion on remembrances of the Grand given by *Steve Swanson, Herb Fick, Phyliss Finger, Brynhild Rowberg*, and *John Mark Schad*.
This event is _free_ to the public. Refreshments will be served.

Cool!
In high school (oops- 1985 or so) we went down into the basement and looked at the "speakeasy" bottles. What fun that was! The building's history must be pretty interesting. That'll be a fun display.
