The Upstairs Rueb presents Matt Arthur & The Bratlanders, along with Whiskey Plates
School’s out for summer and the great live music continues at J. Grundy’s Rueb ‘N’ Stein in downtown Northfield!
This Friday, June 15, don’t miss a great double-bill featuring hometown favorites Matt Arthur & The Bratlanders, along with opening act Whiskey Plates.
As they get set to debut their highly-anticipated second album, join Matt Arthur & The Bratlanders for an evening of rootsy Americana, country-folk, and fire-breathing rock & roll. Be ready to dance!
In addition to the thunderous vocal stylings of the incomparable Matt Arthur (who also lends a hand on acoustic guitar and banjo), The Bratlanders feature twin brothers (and red-bearded wonders) Don Bratland (electric guitar, harmonica, banjo) and Doug Bratland (bass guitar and mandolin), along with Joel Beithon (drums and percussion) and Pete Christensen (keyboards). Christensen's musical alter ego, Whiskey Plates, kicks off the evening -- joined by Eric Lundberg, they present "dark folk and a little needle scratch."
Indeed.
Two great bands, one fantastic night of live music – and no cover charge!
It’s all happening Friday, June 15th – beginning at 8:30 -- at J. Grundy’s Rueb ‘N’ Stein, 503 Division Street in downtown Northfield.
