RGS LACE FOR THE CURE

On Thursday September 30th, there is a double header for the boys and girsl soccer teams. The boys team plays at 5:00 and our girls team plays at 7:00 against Farmington! THIS EVENT IS ON THE 30TH OF SEPTEMBER by the way just remember that so you don't mistake it for sooner!

Our girls soccer team is raising money and donating every penny we get towards the Susan G. Koman foundation which is a foundation that focuses on breast c...ancer research, education, screening, and treatment. A wonderful woman by the name of Nancy Brinker created this foundation in memory of her sister, Susan G. Koman who passed away of breast cancer at age 36. She formed this foundation because she wants to stop this world wide fight women face and so do WE!

Our goal is to turn all of the fall athletes shoelaces pink from the 9th grade football players, all the way through the girls varsity tennis. We hope everyone can contribute in some way by either making a donation or supporting us at our game. If you cannot make it to our game or sponsor an athlete but would like to help us, you can support us by making a donation to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
