Raided by the FBI . . .but still standing. Civil Liberties in the Post-9/11 era, by Twin Cities activist Meredith Aby

Feb 28 2012 5:00 pm
Location:
Carleton College Olin Hall 141

In 2010 Aby's home was one of several raided by the FBI.  The agents took documents and computers and subpoenaed her to speak before a grand jury.  On Tuesday, come hear her discuss how "material support for terrorism" is a political label in a post 9/11 America and how the recently passed NDAA Act threatens all of our civil liberties.

Cosponsored by Carleton's Department of Political Science and EthIC (Ethical Inquiry at Carleton).  For further information, contact Prof. Weisberg at Carleton.
