Kari Berit, author of The Unexpected Caregiver, and host of KYMN radio show of the same name, will conduct a Brown Bag Lunch 'n' Learn series on brain health, entitled "Putting Brain Health First - mental fitness as a daily habit."
The series will take place on four consecutive Thursdays, 12 - 1, (over the lunch hour), with dessert provided. Here is Berit’s description of the first session:
Session 1: Opening your “new” brain
Do your daily brain habits hurt or assist you? We’ll examine and challenge your brain routines in this first session, learning about the importance of incorporating a mental fitness workout into your daily lives.
All sessions are interactive. The goal is to leave each session with a challenge for the week. Goal of four sessions is to leave with the beginning of a better brain routine.
