Based on the classic and well-loved Paramount Pictures 1954 film, WHITE CHRISTMAS first opened as a Broadway musical in 2008.  With amazing and memorable music by the incomparable Irving Berlin, the Northfield Arts Guild Theater promises a toe-tapping, heart-warming journey.  Be sure to add WHITE CHRISTMAS to your “Must See” list for the holidays!   The show runs weekends: Nov 30 - Dec 16. The story of this perennial family favorite sidetracks show biz entertainers Bob Wallace and Phil Davis (Steve Lawler and Paul McGuire) to Vermont with promising performers Betty and Judy Haynes (Michelle Drenth and Sydney Place). Once there, they discover their former WWII commanding officer, General Waverly (Jerry Fox), has turned innkeeper and is losing customers due to a lack of snow.

The show is directed by Rachel Haider and choreographed by Mary Hahn, with Musical Direction by Jordan Boucher, Dan Dressen and Ina Selvelieva.  Set design by Tim Peterson, Costumes by Helen Dillon, Lights by Alvin Ho, Stage Managed by Kevin Ely, Produced/Props by Susan Carlson and Felicia Crosby.

Performances are Friday through Sunday November 30 through December 16th.  Friday and Saturday performances are at 7:30pm.  Sunday performances are at 2:00pm.  There is an additional matinee performance on Saturday, December 15th at 2:00pm.  Advance general seating tickets may be purchased at 507-645-8877 or online at northfieldartsguild.org.  The theater is located at 411 W. Third Street in Northfield.
