Viking Theater, Buntrock Commons, St. Olaf College I will be presenting "I Was an Everest Zombie!" which describes my 2009 Everest experiences on Wednesday April 7, 7-8:30 pm, Viking Theater, Buntrock Commons St. Olaf College. Viking Theater is just past the bookstore as you come in the main entrance to Buntrock. The talk is free and open to the public.
Mike will use both photos and video to take you from Kathmandu to Everest Base Camp and up the historic South Col route. I'll give you an inside look at climbing Everest in the 21st century and describe what it's like to 'breathe outer space' and become an Everest zombie.
