Does the house feel like too much to keep up? Tired of shoveling the walks? Thinking about retiring to Northfield? Come to the Housing Fair sponsored and hosted by the Northfield Senior Center, January 30, 9;30 to 11:30.
A panel of representatives from the Northfield Retirement Community, Kildahl Park Pointe, Three Links, Millstream Commons, and Coldwell Banker Realty will describe the continuum of housing options – from ownership, independent living, HUD rental housing, to assisted living for people 55 and older in Northfield.
There will be displays with more information from these organizations, other housing providers, a local bank, and a universal design builder. There will be opportunities to listen, to ask questions and to find specific information about all types of housing one might want in Northfield, ideas for adapting houses to continue to fit your needs, and information about assistance with ownership such as reverse mortage. The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
