Girls and Moms on the Move is coming to Northfield!

Every Thursday 6:00 pm-7:30 pm
Program Cost:
$15.00 per family. Fee includes registration for the YMCA Fall Classic 5K & Kid’s Fun Run on Saturday October 16, 2010.
Program Location:
Northfield Community Resource Center, 1651 Jefferson Pkwy, Northfield, MN 55057
What is it?
Each week for 6 weeks, girls and moms meet for an interactive, educational session on various health topics followed by a group physical activity session.
Who is invited?
Girls (8 to 12 years old) and their mothers or their caregivers.
Goal of program:
To motivate and support mothers and daughters to live healthier lives and prevent heart disease by empowering them with knowledge, while training together for a 5K walk or run.
