Alzheimer's Disease is the second-most feared illness in America, affecting one out of eight people age 65 and older.  But with increased knowledge, understanding and spiritual support, we can offer help and comfort to those facing this journey, their caregivers and families.

Toward that goal, all interested Northfield community members are invited to a showing of the HBO Documentary, The Alzheimer's Project.  This enlightening series was developed and produced in cooperation with the National Institute on Aging, the National Institute of Health and The Alzheimer's Association as a way of providing both insight and hope for anyone touched by, interested in or concerned about Alzheimer's Disease.  The series will be presented in two parts, from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, March 13 (The Memory Loss Tapes) and Saturday, March 27 (Grandpa, Do You Know Who I Am?) in the second floor St. John's Theater, next to the choir rehearsal room.

Alzheimer’s Disease is a difficult topic.  Yet it also presents an opportunity for the Northfield Community to assist and support our brothers and sisters who are confronting this disorder.   For more information about The Alzheimer’s Project viewing, please contact Alan or Lynette Marks at 663-0802
