Carleton College Singers Present “Songs For Lovers (And Those Who Wish They Were)”
The Carleton College Singers will perform “Songs For Lovers… And Those Who Wish They Were” on Thursday, February 11 at 12 p.m. in the Severance Great Hall on the Carleton campus. Described as “a brown-bag lunch mini-concert of classical and popular love songs to motivate and/or console those normally shying away from Valentine’s Day,” the performance will feature musical selections from the bawdy to the sublime that yes"> from touch on the many aspects and moods of love and love lost. This event is free and open to the public.

The Carleton Singers, led by professor of music and Carleton choral director Lawrence E. Burnett, is a small, highly select vocal ensemble dedicated to performing a cappella choral music of all periods and styles.
