Author Peter Smith Reads "A Porch on the Sofa Almanac"

The Northfield Public Library and Monkey See Monkey Read Bookstore will host Peter Smith, author and Minnesota Public Radio commentator on Wed. Oct. 27 at 7:30 P.M. in the library meeting room. Smith will read from his new book “A Porch on the Sofa Almanac”, a collection of short observations on everyday Minnesota life. A recent review of his book in the Star Tribune compares his writing with Bill Bryson or Garrison Keillor (Sept. 29, 2010). Copies of the book will be for sale at the program.
