Alpaca Fiber Fun Day

Fossum Family Farm Alpacas located at 5445 320th St. W., Northfield Come spend the day with us and learn how to go from a bag of alpaca fleece just shorn off the animal to a beautiful product. Go from station to station and see demonstrations of all the steps in processing fleece including:
- Skirting
- Tumbling
- Washing
- Carding
- Felting (Wet and Needle)
- Spinning
- Weaving
- Dyeing
- Knitting and Crocheting
Various fiber artists will be on hand to show off their talents! Ask questions, give it a try and if interested in learning more, sign up for classes.
