4th Annual Northfield Winter Stomp!

Shake the snow off your boots at the 4th annual Northfield Winter Stomp!, a community contra dance in downtown Northfield this Friday, February 19, 7:00 – 10:30 p.m. at the Northfield Armory, 519 Division Street.

Contra dance lesson at 7:00 (recommended for everyone!), followed by contra dancing to Contratopia from 7:30 – 10:30 p.m. Admission: $9 adults; $6 students and youth under 18; $25 cap per family.

• No previous contra dance experience necessary: if you can walk fast to music, you can contra dance!
• No dance partner required! Contra sweeps everyone up together into one big dance that involves everyone in the room!
• Festive (swing ready) attire and comfortable shoes (and boots) recommended!
• All are welcome, but participation in this contra dance is recommended for youth ages 10 and up!
