We've all been there...We've all sat with clients, customers, friends or family, and while talking about their crisis, or problem we've thought to ourselves, "ugh, this person needs to learn about money management!" We've probably even thought that about ourselves sometimes!
We know how important money management skills are for our clients and customers and yet, it's not the top priority in our job to teach those skills. Trouble is, here in Rice County, we don't have the infrastructure needed to provide that kind of education on a consistent, reliable basis to our community.

The festival concludes on Tuesday August 27 at Carleton College’s Concert Hall with a concert featuring Susannah Perry Gilmore, concertmaster of the Memphis Symphony, Sabina Thatcher, Principal Viola Emeritus of the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra, and Anthony Ross, Principal Cellist of the Minnesota Orchestra. These three prominent musicians will be joined by pianist Nicola Melville, music faculty at Carleton College, violinist Francesca Anderegg, violist Charles Gray and cellist David Carter, all on the St. Olaf music faculty. Works performed will be Mozart’s Piano Quartet in E-flat major, K. 493, and Brahms’ String Sextet in B-flat major Op. 18. In addition, Northfield’s own Matthew Wehling, an award-winning maker of bows for string instruments, will give a brief talk about various aspects of bow making, including a demonstration of some of his bows.
