On Friday August 23, the Festival inaugurates a jazz series. At 7:30 pm, in the Carleton College Concert Hall, pianist Laura Caviani presents a program entitled “From Bach to Bop,” which explores relationships of what we consider “Classical” music and jazz. Caviani, a prominent jazz performer in the region, will be joined by other musicians, including David Hagedorn.
