The Carleton College Art Gallery will kick-off its fall season with an exhibition showcasing fine art prints created by artists from Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Canada, and Hawaii. Prints Around the Pacific Rim, running from September 17 to November 17, 2010, celebrates the varied method of printmakers, and highlights artistic exchange between cultures across the wide Pacific. Prints Around the Pacific Rim is also one of many fall events coinciding with the Mid America Print Council Conference, Old World/New World, taking place in the Twin Cities in mid-October.

SATURDAY CLASS SCHEDULE
STARTING SEPTEMBER 25, 2010

**9:00-9:45AM - Meditation and Qigong
**Standing meditation and gentle breathing exercises with T'ai-Chi 21,
***8 Brocades, and 6 Healing Sounds to start the day with fresh energy
****(no prerequisite - join anytime)

**9:45-10:30AM- Yang Style Short Form
**Prof. Cheng Man-Ching's adaptation of the classic long form,
***truly a meditation in motion; also includes the Fan form
****(no prerequisite - join anytime)

**10:30-11:30AM - Advanced Studies
**Including solo long form, two-person forms, applications, basic
***acupressure, classic literature, and Sword, Sabre and Cane forms
****(prerequisite - completion of the short form)

FEES*: $10/week for a single class, $15/week for two, $20/week for all three
