The Main Street Moravian Church is hosting a Pancake Breakfast on Sunday August 22 from 8 am to 9:30 am. Please feel free to stop by on your way to church or just for food and fellowship. The menu includes pancakes, sausage, and orange juice. Then visit the Northfield Historical Society (NHS) when it opens a new exhibit showing downtown Northfield like you've never seen it before on Thursday, Aug. 26, at 5 p.m. We have selected some rare photographs from our collection, cleaned them up to bring out the details, and enlarged them. The fall Northfield Public Schools Community Services Division brochure is out and registration is open for exciting new classes and old favorites. Students grades K-5 can dribble, pass and kick their way through “Future Raider Soccer Camp” which will be held 5-6:15 p.m. Wednesdays and Fridays, Sept. 8 through Oct 1. Camp is at the Spring Creek Soccer Fields. There are many classes for adults including new cooking classes in collaboration with Just Food Co-op and the Eat Local Challenge. “Eating Local: Summer Soups” will be held 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 8 at the Northfield High School.
